Fouling is more similar to basketball and soccer. Originally, scoring was 1 point for a goal and 0.5 points for a field goal. Starting on 17OCT24, players under 10 receive 1.5 points for a goal and 0.6 points for a field goal (they can take 8 steps between dribbles)), players 10 through 15 receive 1 point for a goal and 0.4 points for a field goal (they can take 6 steps between dribbles), and players 16 through 49 receive 0.5 points for a goal and 0.2 points for a field goal (they can take 4 steps between dribbles). Age rules don't apply if all players are about the same age.
