Woodland Cornfield | return
The Woodland cornfield was adjacent to the 3 cities of Woodland and the Woodland hedgerows. It is unknown if it was ever considered a city within the country of Woodland, a part of the city of Woodland, or a neutral territory. The R.O.K. Army did establish bases there at some points during the Great Woodland War. It received a lot of traffic from invading and retreating troops as well as spies because it provided good cover.
The cornfield was on unknown private property before trespassing was against the rules of the game. On one occasion, R.O.K. and allied troops were in the cornfield when they thought they heard the property owner running after them, though this was probably their imagination. It resulted in all troops booking it toward the road that led back to Kelm. During the hasty retreat, Kent Luxtari tripped on a clump of dirt and fell. Several soldiers reported looking back and seeing him on the ground with a sheer look of terror on his face, much to their glee. The other known participants present were Ben Williams, Greg Smith, Reginald Goldstein, Scottie Smith, and Troy Vanderbilt. Woodland residence also reported being spooked by what they thought were farmers, but in reality it was probably just the Kelmites lurking around.
