Reginald Goldstein | return
Reginald was friends with Scottie Smith. He was generally regarded as being funny, but also a decent business partner. He was a veteran of the Great Woodland War as a soldier for the Republic of Kelm. During the Battle of Cana and Kelm, he was a victim of war crimes after being captured around Woodland by soldiers of the Cana alliance, who were all little kids. While in captivity, Cana soldiers would whip him with sticks and throw stones at him. He finally returned to Kelm-occupied Woodland with wounds covering his legs, which made fellow Kelm soldiers giggle with glee upon hearing his story. He is also known for peeing down the slide in Greenland and tricking Geoff Luxtari to slide down it.
Sports
Reginald Goldstein was not a particularly talented athlete, but his height did help him in basketball. His most notable moment in sports history is being signed to the Shakala Sonics, along with Kent Luxtari, to play in the 1994 basketball final in Shakala against their normal team, the R.O.K. Bombers. The Sonics led most of the game, but after some missed shots and failed dribbles, Scottie Smith of the outnumbered Bombers managed to convert some turnovers to points in the final minute of the game. Scottie, though not short himself, made a vital shot in the closing seconds of the game with both Reginald and Kent in his face. The dismayed Sonics owner Shane Elliot, who was awaiting the rebound, began shouting at the players for failing to defend despite their height, which is the reason he signed them for such a high price.
Eternal City Era
A rather comical moment took place on 21FEB25 when AJ's Publishing released their first set of sports trading cards that Reginald Goldstein was featured in as a throwback player of the Shakala Sonics. When the cards were being sold, customers would pick a random card after paying. At one point, Bruno Mondragon ended up picking the Reginald Goldstein throwback card. He was very disturbed by the appearance of Reginald and notified everyone that he was putting it at the bottom of his collection to hide it. When he made another purchase and was about to pick a card, Yanni Mondragon begged him not to pick the weird guy. Bruno Mondragon, not realizing its potential value to older participants, ended up giving away his Reginald Goldstein card to Scottie Smith for free.
