Kelm Currency Exchange | return
The Kelm Currency Exchange, originally called the Yelm Currency Exchange, was a proprietorship owned by Scottie Smith. It was established on 11JUN23 in Yelm for the purpose of trading Kelm dinars with other currencies in the region of Snowvania. Shortly after its creation, it devalued the other currencies of the Snowvania region relative to their previous trading rates with the Kelm dinar. Scottie employed this strategy successfully to gain a significant amount of other currencies for trading purposes; however, this also caused noticable inflation in the other 3 currencies. On 28JUN23, the exchange started doing business in the region of Whitman Park and adopted its current name. It employed similar tactics against the Avengerdonian dollar. The exchange listed all existing currencies of its time except for the Divinitian sebastian and the Rose Enterprises rosebuck. On 21FEB25, assets of the Kelm Currency Exchange were merged with AJ's Bank.
