AJ's Bank was founded early during the City Era. It was the most prominent financial company of its time and was a major tool of financial manipulation for Scottie Smith and the Republic of Kelm. It also caused several brief bouts of extreme inflation of the Kelm x as a result of mass lending. On 21FEB25, the assets of the Kelm Currency Exchange were merged with its assets, and it was renamed to AJ's Bank & Exchange. The company has always been run as a proprietorship.
