Elo Ratings | return
A k-factor of 25 is used for each team except for those that haven't played at least 10 games in a sport. A team will use a k-factor of 50 until the following month that they play a total of at least 10 games. All matches in 2023 and 2024 used a k-factor of 50. New teams will either start with an Elo rating of 0 or the same Elo rating as a team that they are most similar to in skill. If an existing team begins playing a new sport, they will start with an Elo rating based on the average of all their Elo ratings in other sports. Elo ratings were not kept track of during the City Era.
