note: Rome may refer to multiple topics.
Rome is the probable final name of the city in the living room, and its original name is not known. The city was possibly known as Duke at some points. It may have been a part of Chris Smith's country that is referred to as the Kingdom of J, but was probably usually a part of the Republic of Kelm. During the City Era, it saw relatively substantial economic activity but was better known for holding esports events.
The most notable esports event is when Troy Vanderbilt pulled off an upset against Scottie Smith in NBA Jam Tournament Edition in a final in front of a huge crowd. Troy was astonishingly able to gain the lead, but Scottie was coming back in the last few minutes. In the final seconds, Scottie made multiple steals but was unable to convert most of them into points. The crowd absolutely erupted when the buzzer sounded, as most were rooting for Troy. The ground reportedly vibrated from the intensity of the cheers.
From June 2023 to 2024, it was virtually accessible using the name Saint J. It was under the sovereignty of Evershire for most of this time.
