Berry City was adjacent to the same cornfield that was adjacent to Woodland, it was also directly adjacent to Generac. The city was named for the berries found in the hedgerow that existed between the cornfield and the Berry City basketball court. During the City era Berry City had a vibrant economy and also hosted many basketball and roller hockey games.
